Famous cosmologist Stephen Hawking suggested that Blackholes are not truely black, because truely black objects do not emit anything, no particles, no radiations at all. But Blackholes do emit extremely tiny stream of particles and if that is the case then blackholes cannot be black purely in the first place. However this tiny stream of particle leakage is now referred as The Hawking Radiation.
